Intentions

I'm really happy to start a new blog that will be more professional and art related. It will be unlike my Tumblr blog. That blog is a hot mess of ALL the random things that reflect my personality, including art but my Blogger will be saved from that. It will be dedicated to art! It's actually something I was going to do on Tumblr but now its home will be here.

I really wanted to make this blog for mostly sculpture but after looking at my assignments for my class i can't do that(maybe after the class ends). So I plan to post a wide variety of artwork that catches my attention, some of my own artwork, record processes I used to create some of my work and explore other artist techniques that may be useful to me. I hope that I will feel a little more comfortable blogging my artwork on here. Its not that I am uncomfortable by artwork because I love the things I make but I don't like putting it on the internet. I don't trust people on my other blog to not steal and respect my work because they don't. People take credit for other people's work all the time on Tumblr so im hesitant to put mine there. So here I hope for professionalism and respect(and i will watermark or find another way to secure  my artwork as mine).

With blogging experience from owning a Tumblr blog I found that is very easily to connect with people who have similar interests and are of a different ethnicity. Who doesn't like to meet people from a different country? Your crazy if you don't think its cool that its that easy to connect with a different culture. But I hope its turns out similar here as well. To the classmates who are awesome and love creating art using the computer, I hope to learn from you and make the concepts in this class more useful to me.
